For contemporary minimalist style with maximum effect, Natural Granite Paving is hard to beat. The colour, straight machine cut edges and textured top surface provide a dramatic backdrop to architectural type planting. While randomly laid setts are ideal for borders, driveways or larger patio areas, in either a traditional or contemporary setting.
The paving is available in two shades and three sizes. Granite setts are available in four shades and three sizes.
These setts are ideally suited for driveways and hard standings if laid on a suitable sub base. When laid over smaller areas the elements create the illusion of greater space and offer an air of sheer quality to any landscape or interior when real stone is your chosen option.
They also may be used with any type of manufactured paving as border detail, inlay panels, bands and subdivisions within large paved areas.

Delivery
Deliveries normally occur between 7am and 6pm. Once your order has been placed you will be contacted and provided with an exact date of delivery.
This vehicle will lower the product to the ground using an electric lift. The pallet of products is then pulled off using a manual pallet truck. It is imperative that the ground that the pallet is unloaded onto is flat and solid. Access may be needed for a rigid lorry (up to 20ft) otherwise additional delivery charges may be made. For larger orders alternative delivery methods can be arranged. Please call our office to discuss any delivery requirements or for clarification.
Our customer services team will advise how to prepare for receipt of ordered goods. Our delivery team are not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of your goods.
We do not deliver items to multiple addresses.
All full packs and all orders containing at least one full pack will be delivered free of charge*.
Delivery charges for individual units usually have a flat charge of £30. *Delivery is free on orders with full packs except for deliveries to the postcodes AB, BT, DD, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-28, KW, PA20+, PH, P030-41 and ZE (please call 0800 032 6306 for a quote).
Delivery will normally be less than 7 days (typically 3-5 days). Simply Paving will aim to contact you by email or directly by phone within one working day of your order to suggest a delivery date. If the date provided is unsuitable please get in touch and we will re-arrange the delivery date.

Laying
The area to be paved should first of all be dug out to a depth of at least 200mm. The area should then be back filled with 150mm of MoT/crusher run, compacted to 100mm.
Once the area is prepared, the laying of each sett can commence. The actual mortar bed is prepared individually for each and every sett dependent on its thickness. The bed will consist of a moist mortar mix, using 4 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement. Allow a joint width of 15-20mm for setts. The setts can be bedded down with a rubber mallet. The joints can then be filled with a moist mortar mix (4:1 ratio), or using a specifically designed jointing compound.
