It is naturally split with riven surfaces and finished with age-old hand-dressing techniques. Each individual paving stone is unique in its natural beauty with its own vibrant colourways, texture and shape. The edges too have been hand-dressed. A range of complementary accessories such as circles, stepping stones, edging and setts means that your entire garden and driveway can be completed using natural products. Purestone Natural Sandstone can also be used indoors, where sealant will enhance its beautiful tones and shades. The circular paving system provides hand-cut geometric shapes without incurring time consuming and expensive cutting costs. Two sizes of circle are attainable depending on the number of rings added to the design. Both sizes are available in a complete pack and the matching squaring off kits allow them to be inset within a larger paving area. The hand-dressed edge detail on all Purestone Paving exhibits a taper or undercut running towards the back face of the flag. (pb) When laid with suitable pointing gaps the edges of adjacent paving will provide dovetail or reverse wedge shaped gaps which will considerably assist the keying in of the pointing mortar thereby increasing the durability of the finished joints. We recommend that Purestone Paving is laid on a full mortar bed. When laying, the addition of a PVA admix to the bedding mortar mix can enhance bonding or adhesion if required. Number per square metre includes the recommended pointing gap of 10-15mm.
