Every year, here at Simply Paving, we hold our annual photo competition and every year we receive such a wide range of entries demonstrating just how creative our customers can be with the products that we supply. This year has been no different, with great skill exhibited both in terms of design and workmanship.
We have been blown away with the amount of entries we have received! It certainly has been a very difficult decision as the quality of entries this year has been exceptional.
This year, we have chosen one winner who will receive £500 and five further runners-up who will each receive £100!
From everyone in the Simply Paving team, we’d like to thank all who entered and we look forward to sharing the stunning images on our new website for other potential customers inspiration.

The winner of our first prize is Gary Key from Glasgow! Mr. Key has used the very popular Bradstone Mode Profiled Porcelain Paving in Dark Grey for his patio area and also his pathway.
He has also cleverly used the Madera Antigua Porcelain in Birch to create a contrasting wood effect border and in edition used white decorative aggregate as a alternative border on the pathway.
The use of perfectly arranged conifers and blossom trees looks simply effortless. The patio looks sophisticated and sleek with clean lines.
The product has been superbly laid by one of our registered landscapers Barry Hanlon. The quality of workmanship is clearly evident!
We’re sure that you’ll agree that the combination of the paving, decorative aggregates and lawn make this an attractive garden that’s also perfect for family use.
And now for the five runners-up, who each fully deserve their price of £100!
Mr Daniel Morgan of Chester has created a wonderful semi-circular area using Bradstone Smooth Natural Sandstone in Rainbow.
A perfect space for outdoor dining and entertaining guests in the summer months.
The colour of the paving beautifully compliments the bi-folding doors and fabulous wooden structure. The sandstone offers outstanding natural beauty with every individual slab unique in appearance featuring its own distinctive colours and shades.
I’m sure you would agree that the product is perfectly suited to its surroundings and has been cut and laid to perfection.
In these photographs, Mr James Deere of Berkshire shows that practical can be beautiful. Using Bradstone Monksbridge Block Paving in Royale,he has created a traditional styled,perfectly laid driveway.
The subtle hues and authentic weather worn appearance adds rustic flair to any property!
Mr Malcolm Woodhead from Beeston has created a ultra contemporary and very on trend walkway and patio area using the Bradstone Tordillo Porcelain Paving in White.
The beautiful natural marble effect and exquisite veining perfectly contrast the uniform sliding over sized glass doors and grey framework.
The product has been laid immaculately. An excellent example of how to bring style to a smaller space!
Mrs Lisa Ruprecht of Canterbury has created a traditional patio and path area with a modern feel.
She has created steps leading to a pristine patio area using the Bradstone Aged Riven in Dark Grey.
The easily adaptable uniform size has been used to make a space to be proud of. Mrs.Ruprecht has also used decorative aggregate and a contrasting edging as a perfect finishing touch.
Our next entry is from Mr Andrew McElroy from Kirkcudbright!
He has displayed a perfect example of how a more competitively priced product can be used to create a traditional and decorative patio space.
The Bradstone Edale Paving in Cream looks well suited to the garden area and has been laid with care and precision.
The gentle riven texture is inspired by the stony footpaths seen on country walks.
