How to maintain stone paving

  • Regular cleaning keeps your pavers looking pristine

  • Refilling the jointing compound between pavers help tackle weeds and keep pavers looking their best for longer

How do I clean natural stone paving?

There are many ways to clean your natural paving without removing that out-the-box shine. For starters, simply sweeping any dirt and debris off your pavers every week goes a long way to keep them looking their best.

If you’re tackling tougher stains, the most effective way of cleaning stone paving is with water, soap, a good brush, and some elbow grease. Remember, though, that any cleaning solution you use should be made of acid-free or pH-neutral soaps, such as Tide or all Free Clear. Otherwise, you risk damaging your pavers.

Another reliable way to clean natural pavers is to use a pressure washer. To find out more about different paving cleaning methods, read our guide on how to clean your patio.
